great in a perfect world

The book is more for people who have never heard of multicultural counseling and gives a step by step of multicultural counseling in a perfect setting. It does not give real depictions of how the counseling process works, only ideal. Even my professor didn't care for the text.

Expected more from a college text. Merely a textbook of quotes, from other research and authors. Generalizations, stereotypes, no new information. Needs more cultural depth.
