Lacking....

I am using the book for introductory nursing coursework. I seldom am able to find all the information I need regarding diagnostic labs in this book and have to refer to other references as well. I also find that it's not easy to use. Many of my classmates have found other diagnostic manuals that they like much better. I'm looking.

I was introduced to this book, a few editions back, during my Nurse Practitioner course work. It is the single, best, laboratory resource book I have ever used. It guides me daily in my clinical practice. I give it highest marks and recommend it to anyone in clinical practice.

Good for its purpose.

Ok textbook. Pretty standard for a lab and diagnostic test book. This was required by my program. Overall, I would recommend this product, but there might be better versions available.
